Chic was one of a kind, who meant the world to his colleagues &, in particular, to our very special CWU Openreach National Team Family & myself. Taken from us far too soon. RIP Chicadee. Love, Hugs & Strength to Karen, Jerry & Charlie xxx

Shocked & saddened to learn of Chic’s passing.
I'm saddened for your loss & my thoughts are with you.
I have fond memories of Chic, remembering that we’d spent many a week together at the NCU/CWU Education Centre in Alvescot some 25 years ago as we simultaneously progressed through the Unions Education system & subsequently became Branch reps & officials at around the same time.
I also recall attending numerous CWU meetings & conferences where Chic was also in attendance as well as meetings with BT management.
Whatever the occasion, there seemed always a smile on his face, a glint in his eye & his sharp, dry wit was nearly always reflected in his verbal contributions.
He was a part of my life, albeit fleetingly, as a fellow NCU/CWU representative, activist & BT employee, but once met, he was & never will be forgotten.
Rest easy comrade.
